Sweet Potatoes Wedges with Cayenne Pepper & Smoked Paprika

Serves 2-4



  • Medium to large sized potatoes, 6-10
  • Teaspoon smoked Paprika
  • Teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon Himalayan salt
  • Sprinkle of cinnamon
  • Coconut oil



  • Preheat the oven to 425F.
  • Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Cut potatoes into wedges (4 to 8 wedges depending on size).
  • Place Potatoes in a bowl, add coconut oil (about 1 tablespoon per 6 potatoes.)
  • Add the sea salt, cayenne pepper, smoked paprika and cinnamon. Mix well.
  • Place the wedges on the baking tray leaving a little space in between each)
  • Bake for 30 -40 minutes. Check at the 30-minute mark, they should be soft if not leave them in for 5-10 minutes more.

Cayenne pepper can be replaced with ground black pepper, coconut oil can be replaced with olive oil. For faster cooking: Potatoes can be part boiled before adding seasoning and putting in the oven.
